Konsep Khalifah Dalam Qs. Al-Baqarah Ayat 30 Sebagai Metode Pembentukan Generasi Muda Dalam Menyongsong Indonesia Emas 2045

Abstract

This study comes to a conclusion on the importance of instilling religious values in order to create an Islamic young generation in welcoming the vision of Indonesia Emas 2045. However, this is not easy because the current young generation has its own problems, such as individualistic attitudes and a lack of nationalism and religiosity. This is where the importance of studying the concept of the caliph lies, as stated in QS. Al-Baqarah 30, so that the young generation has a guideline in their lives and is not controlled by their lusts which tend towards destruction. This study uses a library method for various literature related to the concept of the caliph in the verse in question, supplemented by various other verses that are complementary, to then be made relevant to the problems faced by the current young generation. This study is necessary considering that character education will be internalized well if combined with religious values, as the main guideline for life or the most basic ideology of the religious Indonesian nation. The three meanings of the caliph in question include: replacing each other (continuity in history), creating prosperity (through faith, knowledge and good deeds), and piety.
