Urgensi Literasi Digital dalam Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam

This study examines the urgency of digital literacy in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning process. Using a library research approach, this study collects various findings from books, scientific articles, policies, and the latest empirical studies on digital literacy in the realm of Islamic education in Indonesia and internationally, and then conducts text analysis. The results indicate the importance of digital literacy for several reasons: (1) improving access to and quality of religious learning resources; (2) developing the ability to evaluate religious information in the information age (critical digital religious literacy); (3) as a tool to prevent radicalism and disinformation; and (4) encouraging more participatory and contextual learning practices. Optimal implementation requires strengthening the capacity and capabilities of PAI teachers, developing ethical digital teaching materials, and assessments that measure both digital and moral competencies.References
