Strategi Guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam Mencegah Prilaku Bullying di Sekolah

Abstract

Bullying is an act of violence committed with intention and done repeatedly by individuals or group towards others. Bullying is generally occurs in the school environment through action like taunts, insults, pinches, kicks, or distribution gossip on social media that makes the victim feel disturbed and injured. This study aims to know the strategies of PAI teachers in preventing bullying behavior in schools as well as the strategies of PAI teachers in overcome bullying behavior in schools. In order to do that this study is using the library research, namely research that digs up data through literature like book scientific, journal, results study thesis, dissertation, and sources other for to obtain complete information and data. Research results shows the PAI teacher's strategy in prevent bullying behavior at school namely: a) Changing method educate and treat students. b) Building active communication with parents. c) Giving proper understanding about bullying to teachers, students and parents through workshops, training, or seminars. d) Holding anti-bullying campaign involving role active from all over element school, including teachers, staff, students, and parents. e) As effort prevention at a time handling, school need provide facility like bullying center for students. While the PAI teacher's strategy in overcome bullying behavior at school covering various aspects, including is a teacher as educator, as mentor, as counselor, as an evaluator, and as a role model.
